fellow players and friends an undesirable feature. I've seen people
complain about platoons being required for smaller missions in the
past, but now with the individual missions there's a whole lot of
people who are so strictly against platooning that they say there
is no chance they will ever get the tanks. I have to wonder:
What is the big deal? Pros: - You meet awesome people - You
win more which results in more credits and XP - Teamplay adds
another dimension to the game - Doing teamplay and winning more
with awesome people is fun - Social interaction (game doesn't feel
like it's singleplayer anymore) - Non-native English-speakers get
the chance to improve their English - You improve as a player
Cons: ??? What am I missing here?
Ectar: I guess it depends on your goals. My best games in
World of Tanks (in terms of enjoyment and fun) have always been
when playing in a platoon. When you play with people at the same
skill level it's a great laugh and you can do some amazing
coordinated play. It's also good fun to help a newer player
learn the ropes and help them up the tech trees. I'd honestly say
that playing in a platoon is one of the best ways to play the game.
