Ticon, on 02 January 2014 - 06:27 PM, said: Heya so where can we track out progress in points then? do we have
to sub in any way or will you keep track for us?Ectar: We will not be able to track everyone's individual scores
due to the way data is pulled from our servers. It is pulled from
our database then has to go to head office to go through an anti
cheat system then comes back to us to be filtered. Due to the
timescales involved in this it's not possible to provide a real
time tracker.

platooning is allowed I dont see a point in this contests.Today I

for it's tier. So i predict the next week will be not playable for
tier II and II players. No matter if they lack diversity or not.
Ectar check your database or the list of the winning tanks after
the event, and you will see that i am right. To the second
point. This might not be an obvious issue atm. But i am very sure
it might/will happen. You only have to take one of the bigger clans
(with 3 or 4 wings). Let them make all secondary accounts (not very
difficult). Then let them go online on EU1 on a day, at a time
where only around 20k ppl are online. Let them arrange the time
they press the battle button (which is undoubtely not very
difficult) and then you will have a result similar to the one on
the american server. - And the best thing is, it is hard to prove
evidence of cheating. Edit: corrected some misspellingsEctar: Troll platoon isn't allowed. We consider this going against
the spirit of the contest and manipulating the matching making
system to give a low tier tank an advantage. This is easy to
check when reviewing results (it's a simple as seeing the battle
tier of any specific match). Whilst this is something that
is ok in normal game rules. For this contest doing troll platoons
will void your entry.

how are high tier fixing going to be prevented?
Ectar: Still no answer because it's late at night and sadly our
staff don't work 24 hours a day.
Pernumbra, on 03 January 2014 - 01:49 AM, said: Then you expect us to believe that you will be actively looking for
cheating after saying the scores are automatically collected?
BTW - what happened to those players on the NA server?
Afterall; "World of Tanks has to be the same on every continent, on
all servers and in all economic systems". So were they banned, or
did nothing nappen to them?Ectar: Yes, we do expect you to believe. How many past "Art of War"
contests in Europe have had cheating claims? 1 and after
further investigation (and with player submitted evidence)
that player was found to have not cheated. (though they did troll
platoon). It wasn't just Wargaming that was suspicious of the
result as a popular fansite also called this player a cheater and
later apologized for the wrong call. If we suspect a player
has cheated their score is not included in the announced results
and we contact the player directly to ask for further evidence.
They will still be included and added into the contest results if
their matches prove to be legit. There is multiple
checks we do on matches and we don't state what they are because we
don't want to tell players what they need to avoid... Many players
like to think they're the next Sherlock Holmes/Batman/Hercule
Poirot when it comes to investigating contest entries. Sadly most
of the time their "evidence" boils down to "Well I
couldn't get that score, therefor that person cheated" - Or
even "I didn't take part in the contest but I want to cause aggro
on the forums, so I'll say that person cheated". - Bear in mind
these keyboard investigators don't have access to any server
info and haven't seen a replay. They just see a score and "pow!"
investigation complete. I don't know why you added your last
line in a smaller font. If you want to know about stuff on
the NA server you should contact NA customer services (Who in
fairness will tell you they can't comment on another player's
account) or search the NA forums for any threads created during
that time. As I recall I'm sure the whole event was covered on a
popular fansite. If you have any concerns about how the event
was handled that's not something we can comment on here as the EU
office doesn't service NA accounts nor administer NA contests.
