Dwigt: It is not an event, just a special sales with special missions around Saint Patrick's day.

The number of leaves, 3, is significant (Patrick used it to explain the Christian doctrine of the trinity: the union of three persons in the one god).

Dwigt: Correct me if I'm wrong but I did a quick check on the internet and read that the 3 leaves clove is the most common one and referred to the trinity however the 4 leaves the uncommon one is used for luck but maybe not in Ireland.
"The four-leafed clover, or “lucky clover”, is an uncommon variation of the three-leafed clover, and widely considered to be a symbol of good luck. Because they are a mutation, they are rare, and not found in the same abundance as the shamrock, and thus, considered lucky. The traditional Irish symbol of a shamrock does not include the fourth leaf."Not Irish so I had to look it up on the internet, and the internet is not always the best source :P

(Thanks Brexit)   It has nothing to do with 'piping up' it is insulting for many of us on the island, we have WG removing Minsk and Karkhiv from the game map pool atm due to sensitivities and yet they are selling a British tank with a graphic dipped in Irish culture. No point going into this multiple years in a row but it is particularly interesting on the backdrop of what's going on in the world today.. suddenly invading a sovereign country, displacing/killing it's people and establishing new republics on their land is unacceptable. Ironic, very ironic. It's nice to see the USA tank at least involved in the event which was suggested last year... if anything that is what this 3D camo should of been on.. a USA tank given our positive and strong ties to the country.   However in WGs defense I think if it had to be done again they would of chosen a different tank probably on the USA line from the conversations I had with some of the staff privately. It's one of those things.

Dwigt: Based on the feedback from previous years (like you said) we went with an American tank this time and since the Four-Leaf Clover 3D styles are only bound to the FV4202 we had to sell it separately.

Dwigt: I can confirm that adding more clover decals and painting your tank in green will not affect the RNG, only you can :P

We're just so friendly and nice to people that a single welcome for you just isn't good enough.

Dwigt: I'm glad you like the style!  Wishing you and everyone all the luck and RNG :) Happy Saint Patrick's day!
