Trostani, on 07 June 2021 - 02:14 PM, said: LOL, so in old HE mechanic there was not possible to penetrate EBR
hull? In such case there are no changes so lack of benefits from
new system. You advertised new system that decreasing damage to
heavy armor will be be compensated by easier penetration soft
targets but in CT2 you removed all benefits and only stay decreased
damage to hard targets. Oh, not counting premium HESH ammo with at
least double penetration value compared to typical HE shell. And
going back to EBR hit by HE example: Old mechanic: hull hit -
penetration and massive damage, wheel hit - moderate damage and
chance for damaging wheel/modules New mechanic: hull hit -
penetration and massive damage, wheel hit - nothing happens. WTF,
is it called balance?
Dwigt: I am specifically replying and talking about the changes between
CT1 and CT2.
The spaced armor effectiveness has been increased and that includes
screens, fences and wheels since in CT1 screens turned out to be
very ineffective and based on the feedback gathered from the
community and CCs we decided to decreased the penetration of HE
shells when going through spaced armor. In the case of the EBR
hit by HE, your HE shells will penetrate the wheels (lose some
penetration value) but will still be able to pen the hull if you
hit it. Maybe this
video from RagingRaptor can help

so called compensation for lost mechanic. Isnt it bit fun to even
say that spaced armor effectice increace is not nerf for HE ? Does
it do work same way against ap/apcr or even heat shells ? If
it is reasonable totally lose way to penetrate anything trough
tracks then How that is not a nerf ? 3:So you are either
limiting any test for only 10 tier tanks by simplicy or dont
even want to do lower tier test for data gathering. How you are
going to push that update out for live sever in next patch even we
dont have any realistic data to do adjusting ? Not a
single battle for t6 medium,hetzer, M4 sherman,pzIV,O-I,sherman
jumbo,kv-2,black bulldog,ebr 75 fl, that new Kampfpanzer 07
T49,FV4004 Conway,type-4 heavy Do i really have to test those tanks
after HE is already nerfed next to pointless and maybe in couple
months with enought complaining you will remove 0.02 points from
turret dispersion and other very massive buffs like kv-2/r already
received in supertest ? Sory but as owner way too many
prenium tanks im more than worried how you guys are treating paying
customers. That attitude is really bad. 4-5: Yes focuspoint
is only thing what is clear in whole circus. It is least nice how
you dont even deny anymore how this is for community contributors
with more purple ratings than scales are supposed to go. And no
your average player wont get even close same benefit from this as
guys mentioned above. Those people already have everything what
this game can give with ultimate crews in cw/maraton tanks with
full pumped bond equipments. He was mostly only way to do
anything to those guys in begin with when maps started to get
smaller and have nice hulldown spots in chokepoints. Note:That so
called buff to heavies does not include german or japanese tanks
because those things have flat armors and are spammed down by gold
like there is no tomorrow. And will be spammed to death in tomorrow
by gold.
Dwigt: 1-2 Is it reasonable to penetrate screens or any type of spaced
armor without losing pen value? If we are increasing spaced armor
on certain parts of certain vehicles it's because the armor was not
working as it should in that case and it should add more armor
against all types of shells not only HE. 3- We are not
limiting the tests but on the contrary we are encouraging players
to go and play all tanks and tiers to help up gather the data.
However, we can not force our players on those servers to play on
specific tiers. More players will be playing those tanks and lower
tiers on the live servers and we will be monitoring them closely to
see what changes are needed.4- So the HE changes are not here to
please certain part of the community. The decision to move forward
with those changes was taken after 2 rounds of testing on the
sandbox where players from different skillset and regions
participated and provided feedback. And just to be clear, CCs don't
get fully trained crews, bonds or bond equipment... They do
get tanks (some times on trial) so they can play it and show
it to their communities. They are skilled players and that has
nothing to do with us
Maltratatoru, on 07 June 2021 - 02:01 PM, said: If you don't remove the arty mission then you will force players to
play a class they don't want to, just to get some orders.... And
doing so the other players will suffer. If you give the
sound detection to radioman that will do nothing, because on lots
of tanks the commander IS ALSO the radio man. WG, for once in a
life time, can't you just do something right from the start? Just
merge the sound detection skill with the sixth sense already , and
be done with that.
Dwigt: You are assuming that all players playing arty are playing it just
to complete their personal campaign missions and they hate it.If
you hate playing arty you can always use your orders and skip the
missions.
