final form not an actual test. And what i played there those
statistics cant be right because most players who played there seem
to had no clue what whole point in this test was because all what
we got was typical gold (heat/apcr) spam=Not much data for HE
shells. And those compensations for tanks which will get
whacked quite nicely. oh boy.... Really sucks to have t49/sheriddan
right now because those buffs will really compensate lost 1/3 of
potential HE splash. Kv-2/r really didnt get that much better
treatment. Expect angry players especially kv-2r owners. EBR:s
excluding prenium will get nerf because hight pen HE. So suddenly
HE will be a problem but in front page everything was fine and
nothing needed a change ? And our 183mm derp kings didnt get
anything ? Overally really disapointed for whole patch only
because hulldown heavies specially chieftain and e279 needed to be
immune for free to play players. Now go and release that screw 2.0
so we can finally put that game on rest after all those years...
Edit: Will strv 103b get any compensation for lost
survivably ? Dwigt: I'm not sure if you read the first part of the article or the
previous article for the sandbox. We want change certain aspect of
the HE shells while making sure that it remains reliable and fun in
certain cases. But after those changes will go live some
vehicles will get an indirect buff or nerfed that's why we are
testing and adjusting certain vehicles on the Supertest
now. And no, the purpose of the Sandbox server is to
test a feature or a new mechanic on its own. We do not touch or
change any other aspect. The sandbox results will tell us if we
got a general approval from the community and we will know
that this feature can be added to the game. The
Supertest and Common Test server will allow us to go
into details, and adjust certain aspects that are affected by
this new feature and of course technical aspects and
issues.

tanks like Königstiger or Jagdtiger without constantly getting
penned by overpriced premium ammo is definitely one thing that
would bring me back into the game as an active player. For
artillery you have completely removed the concept of premium ammo
and made all ammo types cost the same. How about using that
approach for all other tanks aswell?Dwigt: No news or updates on special ammo or other types of shells. As we
already said in the past we are now reworking HE and will look into
other aspects of the game later on.
TacPenguin, on 18 May 2021 - 06:25 PM, said: As so many predicted the changes are coming because it is WGs game
and they will do whatever they want. If they get it wrong
players will stop playing or stop paying and it will effect WGs
bottom line. Now the only choice players can make is
continue paying and playing or continue playing and not
paying. Or Stopping!! Ill see what happens and how the
live server reacts. I'm guessing that I will give
a few weeks then pooooff 10 years and I will be done.
Interesting time TcPDwigt: We are not doing whatever we want. If that was the case, we
wouldn't invest and waste our time and resources on sandbox
servers, testings, gathering feedback from all communities,
platforms and CCs... We could have just implemented all those
changes with Crew 2.0 on the Common test in a week.We got a general
approval and we are moving forward with those changes.
HerrWizzard, on 18 May 2021 - 06:27 PM, said: I did play on the sandbox. i did take the SPG, as i like to play
them. Yeah, i did not manage to penetrate ANY single AP shots.
None. Zero. Either bounced or did a critical. an that because of
the lol angle and the lol penetration. An yeah, "multi role SPG"
they say. Like i said in the survey, delete the SPG and that's it.
i bet there will be a free 2d cammo as compensation. The arty is nerfed to hell and back. No one cares about, cause some campers couldnt camp freely anymore. Will arty stats change so that you can get more easy to Mastery? No. will the missions change? No, ofc, who care about all this..... Now, with arty f@#$ up badly, the HE so called re balanced on the other tanks, the heavily armored vehicles are indistructible. Well then, dont let them in Tier 8/9 games, and monsters like chieftain or 279 should not go into randoms. but that's not gonna happen. i wonder how do u think a tier 6 heavy tank would fair frontally vs Defender. What options does it have? It is just a plain dumb move. GG, u have too many players, i guess. Sadly this info never goes to the devs or to whomever makes these dumb decisions. too bad. They should hear from the community directly how IQ sub-zero this is.
Dwigt: As I said earlier, campaign missions and other aspects will be
revisited once the changes go live. Regarding the examples you
are mentioning, unlike you, other players liked those changes and
provided positive feedback. I hope you understand that we can not
base our changes and balancing on individual examples.
You are assuming that heavily armored will become indestructible and at the same time you wonder how a tier 6 should go face to face with a defender.
IMO, good gameplay should be rewarded and in an game like WoT you should adapt and rethink your strategy depending on your tier and team compositions.

HE changes. Stop trying to fix something that isn't broken. It's
not a better simulation of reality and the gameplay isn't becoming
more fun. Reading your interpretation of the
responses feels like you are twisting my words. Just because I
didn't lie or rip it apart does not mean the changes are working
correctly. Yes it's an improvement over the first test, because
that one was absolute horror. These HE changes are unwanted.Dwigt: You don't need to lie or rip apart the changes to prove your point.
And I can assure you no one is twisting your words to pass a
message and force the changes. Seems like the HE changes got a
positive response from the majority of players who tried it and
provided feedback.
