didn't even scratch it Dwigt: To answer your question, why not add a tracer for TDs (or every
other vehicle) - In a TD you need a clear and
straight line of sight to be able to shoot your target. Plus,
we already have the shoot indicator telling you where that shot
came from. It's much easier to know where that shot came from and
for you to blindfire that bush and most of the time that TD is in
the spotting range and will be immediately spotted. On the
other hand, SPGs play differently. They can sit behind hills,
rubbles or in ditches, snipe without being spotted and you're not
able to retaliate or even blindfire. The point of that tracer
is to give you a rough estimate of the direction and where that
shot is coming from but not to reveal the exact location of
the SPG. That's why you need to keep an eye on the sky, the tracer
will not last long and will not show you a complete shell
trajectory. Yes it might be easier now to pinpoint their location
but the main point of that tracer is for the player receiving those
shells so they can predict their movements and know how to cover
their tank. IMO this shell tracer will lead to 2 things: SPGs
will have to relocate (while reloading) to avoid enemy SPG shells
and SPGs will have other priorities: hunting other SPGs
thus giving more space to slow/heavy tanks to play
around.

Personally I'm against most changes (traces are ok). This will lead
to the termination of arty in the game. So I will test this in the
SB as arty, but I will be AFK to show the effect in the real game.Dwigt: Listening to the community doesn't always mean we should
reduce/remove the vehicle or feature from the game. We acknowledge
that there is a problem and we try to fix it and satisfy all
parties and in that case, SPG players, non SPG players without
killing an entire line. Only the results will show us (and you
eventually) if we're going in the right direction.

the grenade, second because of RNG and third because the vehicles
are moving, it's still tanks Dwigt: The point of the sandbox is to reproduce a close environment to the
live server while we test the new mechanic which means you will
have 0 to 3 SPGs and a reason why SPGs are not included in the
missions.
