Sandbox 2021: Get Ready for New Tests!

Dwigt: Let's not assume and start speculating on what is going to happen.We're offering you a chance to test what's coming so why start speculating now and worrying about something that might not even come or that you might enjoy?We already said in the past that IF Crew 2.0 is going to be released, there will be a proper compensation mechanic and we'll make sure that you don't lose your progress and investment.Stay tuned, more articles will come and you be take part in the sandbox and have a say in the final decision. Don't waste it :)

I really cannot remember when there was a patch where i would praise WG... The only good thing that happened in last few years is the reduction of minimap spam...

Dwigt: I mean if asking you to join a sandbox server, try the changes, fill a survey is considered to be PR talk... I don't know what else we could do to involve you in the development process.

One step at a time would help us get better results and help us find solutions and improvements to others aspects if needed.rework the major problems then before introducing more... u even read forums? fix cars, gold spam and add moreto personall rewards in terms of exp and credits after battle... reward players for playing their tank roles so we do not see lights trying to play snipers full of gold in any level, or heavies running uphills for 4 mins (pretty much when game ends- and i do not mean fast one but u know type 5's or e 100's or similar) ... reduce arty to one per team , and balance the weight of each team by skill also (a feat u could implement in finding platoonmates).... SOLVE what exists, and then implement what u like... start in the correct order..... 

got it dwigt? u seem to miss the problem! ur focused more to the tree than the forest..... not sure if its done on purpose or not, but u miss the point

Dwigt: So now SPGs and HE are just a couple of trees? Yes we are aware of your other demands. Some of it might come maybe a bit later, some of it is just not doable from our perspective. 1- Last year's changes were different and we it was clearly said that we're not going through this proposal because YOU didn't like it and we're going back to the drawing board. Those new HE changes looks very promising.2- For some people in the community, nerfing EBRs is removing it from the game, for others is maybe removing their cannon, but in reality stats are way more different than sentiments and yes, we did not want to kill an entire line, we nerfed them in one of the recent updates. People complain that EBRs shoot HE on the move right? Don't you think that this HE rework might affect EBRs? Maybe you'll answer that question after the sandbox.3- Removing SPGs or reducing it to 1 per team is not something we want to do. What we want to do is to move from its negative aspects and change how players perceive it and interact with it. 4- We're not implementing something new (SPGs or HE) but SPGs and HE spam exist and we're trying to deal with it based on your requests and feedback.

Dwigt: No trust me, I'm pretty much optimistic about what's coming. I wish I could share more info now, but I can tell that CCs and CMs (Community) were involved in that process.That's a not a way to avoid special shells or premium tanks :D We're taking it one step at a time so we don't create more problems. HE and SPGs have their negative points and we want to address them. After that we have a better view on addressing premium tanks (or other tanks) and other mechanics. In Wednesday's stream with RagingRaptor, we were discussing what's coming and he gave a perfect example to describe the upcoming changes. As an engineer, you have two ways of dealing with a problem. You can just change everything at once or maybe take one element at a time, test it, change it and then put it back in the system and see how it works and how it will affect the whole thing. See you on the sandbox!

Dwigt: Look certain aspects of the game should change but some of them come from the community.EBR nerf, SPG, HE Spam. Yes there are other stuff as well that you constantly ask us to change.We don't want to remove EBRs or SPGs so we decide to tweak them in a way that players who enjoy playing those types of vehicles can still enjoy them and players who are annoyed by them can  If you have the chance to test those changes why waste it?

Dwigt: Are you serious?It's not even a patch yet! We have articles coming to explain what's is going to happen on the sandbox servers first. THEN, IF we all agree on those changes, we will release other articles with what was confirmed and how it will be implemented, then there's the Common Test.. Not hiding anything!

Finaly no-skill-needed FV4005-like tanks will have to aim those HE shells (But Chieftain will be even more powerful) Arty rebalance, oh yeah finaly somebody realized, that you can program bot overnight to play that class. More counter-battery fire ads new choice for arty players - hunt arty, or shoot enemy. More shells, more options (but this time pls real options, cos on normal tanks there is no choice as long as special ammo is just better). Signal that you are being fired at is oh so good, cos now shell travel time will mean something and arty will have 1 more reason to use keyboard - to be closer so you dont give enemy much time to evade your shot. Changes like these will hopefuly make arties skill-based too, so there is a major difference between good and weak player and while these changes may sound like nerf to arty, it will only affect performance of bad arty players - those experienced ones already move from place to place, already take into account that enemy might move after they fired at him, and they will deffinitely welcome ammo choice as it my even increase their performance. BTW, it would be nice if we could see tracers of tanks and arties in normal tanks too so we can counter-fire ;) So far so good, make it work, it will improve the game. And then nerf special ammo and Chief already...

Dwigt: Thank you for saying that! I get that we don't like change in general or maybe want to change other elements of the game but at least give it a try (not you Zentor :D )

Dwigt: Too soon to start talking about refunding crew members. We did not forget about them. Most likely special commanders and crews will be merged or transformed in a way that you don't lose them. I repeat, if those changes go live, we want to make sure you don't lose your progress.

Dwigt: EBRs were nerfed. Not enough? Stats will show. Forums impressions are not enough to decide. HE changes might help with balancing EBRs and the "shoot on the move" aspect.I don't want to discuss Equipment 2.0 here but a lot of players agreed with the changes during the sandbox rounds and we made sure that you don't lose your progress. Did you participate in that last one?I encourage you to do so and have a real taste of what's coming.
