They have statistics and ingame feedback (sometimes they popup) which are much more important then we few people up here. Still, the statistics are the most important feature - going with dog tags - we used them the last time, so we liked them to much last time... Thats why we get it now permanently. Sad, but most likely true.

We have different sources of feedback. Some are based on actual stats and facts and others are based on sentiments and feedback.
Dog Tags will not break the game or the balance and a lot of players apparently liked the idea, so why not introduce it?
If you don't like it, you can simply turn it off from the settings.
