Example: T34-85M mounted on slot 2: Gunn Rammer class 2 - purcase price 300.000 - slot  2 and slot 3 not have any categories (N/A), but in garage, when i put mouse on rammer i see (slot 2 - rammmer) "equipment and slot categories do not match"  ????
Table from web: Introducing Categories for Slots and Equipment - https://worldoftanks.eu/en/news/general-news/1-10-equipment-2-0/ Medium tanks Mobility N/A N/A

Dwigt: I think Unicorn of Steel explained it well."Equipment and slot categories do not match" means that you can still equip it but it will not provide the additional 1.5% bonus. However, if you have the tiny yellow arrow in the top right corner of the equipment slot, it means that you will still be able to use the equipment but it will be demounted and sent to your depot for free with the next update release.

My tier 8 premiums require no investments to keep them running with the current setup. Sadly that doesn't mean they will be competitive anymore given the new equipment choices...but that is a choice i can willingly make.    All my lower tiers need to be refitted by the time the next update goes live though. Luckily that means replacing expensive equipment with cheaper and that's not something that needs to be done to be able to play them right now. Again, that is only with regards to keep them running with the current setup. Sadly that doesn't mean they will be competitive anymore given the new equipment choices etc.   However....i don't believe for one second that my tanks will remain competitive without adopting their setups to the new meta that will evolve the coming days. So there will be a large bill to pay in the end.   I still think there are far more pressing matters to solve instead of fixing what ain't broken, it still is a ordinary money grab and i'm still worried about the effect of the new spotting equipment which might be quite game breaking/changing. So for me no uninstall today but nevertheless #walletclosedforgood.

Dwigt: I'm glad that you changed your mind (at least a little bit) and sharing your feedback. As a new player myself I have a lot of equipments to move around but some of my equipments have been converted and are more expensive now.  The gameplay will change and we hope that this change will bring more variety to the game for higher tiers. I wanted to thank you once again for sharing your opinion that I respect and let me know how you adapt to the changes after a couple of days?

Will check it later, but maybe it will "only" cost to stay competitve from Tier 8 on. Back to seal clubbing, guys!

Dwigt: Very useful post, thank you for sharing it and highlighting some useful tips with everyone. :)
