You can check the Ranked Battles Rules here.Friendly damage still exists in some modes. It was only disabled in for good in randoms and some other events/modes. Check out this old article for more details.To answer your question, if this happens once or maybe twice "accidentally" the system will not detect you. But if you can keep on repeating it then you will be flagged and you will get auto banned.
