wp WG.Dwigt: Wow this new player is fast! He went from tier 1 to tier 9 in
less than a day! This proves that inexperienced players in high
tier already existed.
Gruff_, on 22 April 2020 - 08:31 PM, said: The overall quality of gameplay is already suffering partly
because inexperienced players are rushing towards what they think
is endgame nirvana at tier 10 without understanding the basics of
team play and tank roles. They bring with them the same
tactics learnt in tier 1+2. Having less grind may be good on
one hand but on the other hand the matches everyone plays day to
day get worse. When you also throw in to that mix too far
imbalanced tank parameters and some terrible map designs it's a
recipe for disaster.Dwigt: Yes you're right Gruff when you say new players will reach
higher tiers faster but let me know if you agree with the points
below:- A new player doesn't have to be bad at the game.- Farming
credits and xp is not that easy to reach higher tiers like you're
describing it. - Before 1.9 update players couldn't play and
learn the game at lower tiers. Now, with the HP pool and low tier
changes, they would be able to spend more time in lower tier
battles to learn and improve before heading to higher tiers. -
Reducing the HP gap between low and high tier tanks will help a
lot. New players won't have to rush to higher tier tanks to be
able to survive more then 2 shots in battles. - Let's suppose
a new average player, looking to improve his skills goes
directly into tier 7+. I would imagine he would go back to low tier
battles after 4 5 losses in a row. If he wins all his high tier
battles that would prove my 1st point
That my honest and objective
opinion on these changes.
