Fair Play Update

Dwigt:  Going AFK or camping are frustrating but unfortunately are not considered cheating. Maybe adding a suspension for a couple of minutes (15-30-60 minutes...) would be a solution like a lot of other multiplayer games. Keep in mind that a lot of "AFK" players may have been disconnected, had their game crashed... Fighting in game toxicity is an ongoing process and we count on you to help us reduce it.

I play a lot of Escape From Tarkov and they have had a lot of problems with Cheaters and regularly Have ban waves with the names of those banned posted on the forums. I really do not see the problem with naming and shaming.

Dwigt:  Parim and I already answered that particular question earlier in the thread. I play games that are a lot more active on banning players but don't share names publicly.

I ma referring to "players" who join game, have bad session and starts with "Idiot team", pick up somebody less successful in game and start calling him names ... "uninstall", "play lego" and similar inappropriate messages in chat.  I ma not target so often, but I hate it. There are kids playing this game and it is definitely not appropriate behavior.  Ofc there are also more toxic words in chat. And quite often.    Generally those rules are not followed in chat and personal attacks are on chat on daily bases.   2.03. Insults, personal attacks, abuse or harassment are not tolerated on any level. 2.04. Derogatory comments based on race, nationality, religion, culture, sex, or sexual preference are prohibited. 2.05. Allusion of racial or national supremacy, as well as discriminative propaganda on any level is prohibited.

Dwigt:  You forgot to mention the in game whispers that you receive from that player after the battle ends! Unfortunately it's a big problem in online gaming not only in WoT. The best way to deal with toxic players and enjoy your game is to report them with a screenshot. I can assure that our in game report system works pretty well and a lot players get suspended or muted.
