The failure of WN8.

Dakiras:   Indeed, but then we're getting a little off-topic... only slightly, though.   So, there is a bit of an issue with regards to people's attitudes when stats are involved; as though stats are the be-all-and-end-all of validity for someone's argument. While they provide a good indication they are not to be the sole judge of someone's skills. WN8 is largely incomplete and not perfect, but then no scoring system is ever 100% accurate. They give an estimated guess at someone's success rate, and how well the can pull their weight. Beyond that, it should never be the sole criteria of weighing someone.   While WN8 could perhaps be improved, this is something that will be done at the discretion of its creators. If you've a mind of statistical analysis and have an interest in this stuff, I would say get your head into the API and work on formulating some kind of algorithm yourself since it might be helpful to the community. If you can come up with a fair way of calculating someone's overall performance, great! If not, well, then you will have to remain with the rest of the community and hope that WNx is improved over time. :)
