Universe month waste of time!

Dakiras: I understand that you're unhappy with the results, and this is a point that will affect many people. For instance, the Contest #1 as a prime example where there are only a limited number of 'top places' available. We can't choose everyone to win, regardless of the time invested into it. For contest #1 alone we had well over 1000 entries. Less than 20% of the total will be placed in the 'top' spots. There isn't much we can do with that.   As for the judging, there are a few things to consider. 1. This is not the judgement of a single person - multiple people are involved in this process. 2. Creative contests are subjective. Each person judging will have their own favourites and ideas on what constitutes good design, and will rate certain designs more highly than others. It's the same with most art. 3. The scores given to each piece of work is combined and then averaged, giving the overall score.   Okay, so you didn't get the results you were hoping for and you felt that your time was wasted. There is nothing that we can say to recompense that. The Wargaming Universe Month was something that was initially being run in the game to raise awareness on how World of Warplanes and World of Tanks shared Free XP, Gold, and Premium accounts. The in-game part has been running the whole month. The creative contests we hosted on the forums were added by the Community Team to offer additional opportunities for other people to have a means of being part of the Wargaming Universe Month events. Entry into these are not mandatory, and should never be considered as such.
