and I'm not sure the fact that you play ADC can say anything about
your desired playstyle in a tank. If sniping is your
thing, Tank Destroyers are an option, or even SPGs. Medium tanks
come in great variety. Either way, you shouldn't consider
anything a grind. I can also recommend working toward
the Soviet KV-1 tank. The way towards it leads you past some fast
and agile light and medium tanks. You can never know what tank role
you like if you don't try them, including a Heavy Tank. You have
several garage slots available, so I'd recommend trying several
lines. You can also read the wiki to find more about each nations
ups and downs for each role. Dakiras: You have to put aside the comparisons between other games,
because you will find that those comparisons are not accurate
enough to define a play style. You really want to give the game a
go and see which tanks you enjoy, then ask "what tanks are similar
to this one?" so that you can better judge which lines are for you.
If the basic idea of the role that you played in League of
Legends is what you're trying to find, then maybe there is some
comparison to be made, but again it wouldn't really be accurate. A
lot of tanks in the right hands have the ability to carry games.
Some are pure meatshields that will not die, others are really
great flankers and scouts. You're going to want to adapt your way
of thinking for WoT and have a go at everything at least for a
bit.
For gaining overall game
knowledge I, and many others I'm sure, would probably recommend the
Russian Heavy line (KV-1, KV-2, etc.), but many have already
suggested some good things to do already, so I won't iterate for
the sake of it.
