What just happened?

Dakiras: It's hard to diagnose when you say that one moment you were lagging and the next you are not, but are adamant that it's not your internet connection. It *could* be your internet connection. If there's a high amount of traffic going through the line at the same point that you're playing the game, this could be a factor. Quite often if I experience *any* form of lag in a game, I will first check whether or not a piece of software is doing an update (Windows being a prime suspect, despite telling it not to.)   If this is prolonged, it could be a number of things. If there's a usage limit on your internet service (common with ADSL or lower-end Cable packages) then it could be that your speeds are being throttled due to this. If you're using a cable service, it's also worth rebooting the modem every week (as a rule) because there are times when changes occur with the service that update on router reboot.   There's quite a few things to check, but having more information means that we're able to better help.
