Newbies - what do you find yourself doing wrong?

If I have speed, I like to use it, but it often ends up with me getting killed early on.   I've had my best performances in slower tanks like the Valentine, Matilda and AMX40, where I've no option but to trundle along and let the battle unfold for a few minutes.

Dakiras:   I have the same impulse for speed, so what I've started doing is using that speed to blast off to the sides. By the time I've made good headway, my brain kicks in and thinks "FOREVERALONE.JPG! HIDE!" and then I hide and spot/wait for a flanking opportunity. :bush:   Telling yourself to hit the brakes is a good habit to get into, but that initial burst of speed that you have is a great asset to set up an ambush of your own off to the side where enemies are most likely to traverse.
