Can't WoT players stop insulting in every occassion?

Дата: 18.12.2013 18:01:44
Quote Any suggestions what to do when that not so good player does not know how to read or doesn't understand any language I can speak? Even simple clicking on the map to point out where the enemy is coming from or sniping him at usually has no effect on these cases.

Dakiras:   In cases where there is absolutely no way that you can communicate with them... well there is nothing that you can do. It's out of your hands if your words are not understood, and there's really no way you could have altered the course of that outcome. In that situation, you have tried to do all you can and nothing more can physically be done.

Quote Idea that came to my mind, though I'm rather sure this has been suggested million times already: WG should encourage people with basic understanding of English to use the other server while the rest could use the other one. This would be a good thing for non-English speaking player base as well as it increases the chances for them to find those players they understand and makes it possible for them to co-operate. This server cut shouldn't be strict of course (nothing like forcing players to choose only one server they're able to play at) but encouraging/suggesting might benefit the whole community.

Dakiras:   This isn't something I'm sceptical about and it can be damaging to the community as a whole as well. It would be too restricting and then you'd fall into the issue of the servers being split and both sides not 'mixing' at all. I've read - and been told personally - many stories from players across various games who had almost no knowledge of English (or whatever language they are playing a game) that have learned that language through the game. This to me is one of the cool aspects of online gaming. The fact that you can mix with people from different backgrounds, cultures, skill sets; you can learn from each other.    I can understand what you're saying, communication can be an issue at times when so many players do not speak your language. It's a gap that requires some work to bridge. In bridging that gap as a community it means that many people can benefit from it.
