WG doesnt get the meaning of advent calendar.

Brynd:   I'd say welcome to the forums if I didn't realise you'd been here for longer than me. There was similar forum feedback to previous years' "advent" promotions.

I and other members of the community team have a lot of empathy for the players who have a want to buy stuff but it's out of their price range - we read all the feedback and complaints and it would be very hard not to get affected by what people say. 

But based on that feedback, we've questioned the pricing time and time again, and in the end we're shown that it comes down to what I think you said yourself: we sell what sells.  To add to that, it's like the prices match a sweet spot that enough people can afford to give us enough income to keep the free servers online and new content coming. So there hasn't been much interest in changing something that seems to be working out for us as a business. 

I'm sorry it's not great news for some people and I'm sure I'm burning my last remaining forum reputation with this post, but there you go.
