Like on other advent calendars. You know what's inside, but not
when you get it. It would be nice if WG had said what was in it, so
if someone wanted a KV-5 and a Pz II J for example, the person
wanted the KV-5 more but bought the Pz II J instead because he/she
did not know if there was going to be a KV-5 in there. Another good
thing of knowing what's in it would be that you could decide more
easily what to buy. If I knew what was inside and I did not want
the other offers, I would have bought the BT-SV. I'm sure
I'm not alone on this, and this is just what I think of it. It's a
great idea to have these kinds of discounts on stuff.
Brynd: I can really empathise with that position; an offer might
look really tempting but you hold off in case of the chance of
another tempting offer coming along later on that you might prefer.
One might be tempted to think of the old English phrase: a bird in
the hand is better than two in the bush and go with the tempting
offer that exists right now. After all, if it is tempting now and
enough to prompt you to buy, you could say that it is enough that
you got one thing you wanted, even if you did see something else
you wanted later on.
But then hey, I don't want to be that guy that nudged you towards a good deal now, and then prevented you from another good deal later on... But... don't forget the bird in the hand...
