ErikLeppen, on 18 December 2013 - 01:32 PM, said: Gray is a tall building one can't shoot or see through, with me
along a corner and an opponent just around the corner. I just want
to kill him. So I drive forward, turret rotated sideways, shoot and
back off behind the wall. Sounds reasonable. The problem with
this is that by moving I lose my aiming accuracy, and he is just
waiting there, fully aimed and all he has to do is click to fire at
the right moment. He has to do less, so can probably do it
better. But I'm usually too impatient to wait before he decides to
take a peek around the corner.  Brynd:   I'm still learning the ropes too. But this guy is
essentially daring you to come around. If you give in and come
around, as you say yourself, he has an advantage. His little ploy
has been successful. So if it was me I'd avoid it.  Some
alternative suggestions to those above is to pull back a lot more
and try and draw him into coming around the corner yourself. You
might find another alternative vantage point nearby to cover
yourself while aiming at him.
Or you could pull back a lot more, turn and go find a better target somewhere else. Keep in mind that the battles are relatively short so a stalemate at a corner can end up keeping you occupied longer than is going to be helpful for the eventual team result.
