This is competitive area of the game, call it as you like.
Tournaments reward for WINNING, the goal of tournaments is not to
reward everyone, but those who win something or reach X amount of
top places. It's false to say unicums only win, there were
ridiculously high number of times where total newcomers won a
tournament. The point is if you give up before you even try,
obviously you'll not win it. Is it going to be hard? I really hope
it will. Those unicums didn't become that overnight, a lot of them
spent countless hours training and doing the same thing over and
over until they became good. That's what the goal of tournaments
is, to challenge people to push and strive to win. If someone finds
this concept not that fun, then by all means don't play it.
This is how it has been all the time and I cannot see this
changing ever in any sport, esport, game, olympics. Have a
