Berbo: Ideal solution would require 16 teams, not 18. Therefore 2
games have to be played additionally. There's no seeding
system at the moment so teams who have extra games are random. As
for is it fair or not, it's something that exist in every
tournament in the world and there's no system which would put you
all in round of 16. It happened before and it will happen
again, if someone gets 1 round more or 1 round less it doesn't mean
they are likely or unlikely to win the tournament. I truly believe
if you are good enough to win the competition, 1 extra round means
nothing. And if you lose in the first round, then no one can
complain of not winning the competition as you failed in the first
