My suggestion would be that there should be multiple group stages like first would be with 5 or 7 teams in which all of non participating teams would not go further and make the two first winning teams go further and after that create group of 10 or 20 then finally put a playoff. It is only an idea but as I suspect that will make players to devote whole day if you pt all in one day besides playoff. But the prize pool is really great no complains about that.
