I reread the spoiler and it states that crews with less than
one skill will be converted into crewbooks - but I'm talking
about crews with more than one skill. For exampel, I have one 7
skill crew in my british mediums. Then I have another british
medium crew that is almost 6 skill. I also have 3 rather good
british TD-crews, one very good light tank crew and one decent arty
crew. I have no use for all these crews (especially not if I use
the Manticore trick for my 6 and 7 skill crew). Lets say I
convert one of the medium crews into the new system but don't
convert the other one. Will this crew be converted into crewbooks

Crews with more skills would be converted after some period
of time has passed where conversion happens for all "unchanged"
crew members. But we certainly see that one of really big
points you present is ability to convert such crews by yourself and
we will share it with devs.

While the overall stats of tanks like Tiger I and Type 58 seem to be the same (if not slightly better) after the automatic conversion, it lfeels overly complicated to me. also, the addition of "bonus skills" is in my opinion unneccessary as it tries to force one to use "skill" points in a certain branch.
ApocalipticSnowflake: It may seem like it because they are under one "category" of
instructors. So you will have 1 "tile" with icon saying
you have more than one there for example i have like 40 instructors
to pick in there. Would screenshot but i have my game closed
already. Edit: Screenshot attached. Game on SSD so why
not
