Sandbox Crew 2.0 - Second Iteration

Why is a tier 6 medium crew applied to a tier X light tank?   As for other initial feedback, a crew member with 1 zero skill  and 4 skills DOES NOT EQUAL a 2 zero skill and 3 skills - you are at a totally different point on the training bell curve, and need far less XP to train the next skill on the crew member with 2 zero skills. You are treating the zero skills the same as purchased trained skills, and therefore ripping people off. The whole point of zero skills is that they count as zero when calculating XP for the next round of training.   Meanwhile by now I think it's clear that no-one asked for this other than some senior marketing strategist somewhere. If you want to save the game, please stop adding ridiculous changes to it. The uniting features that most players actually want are:   1. Free 6th sense  2. Standardised crews along tech tree research lines from tier 1 to tier X (no more need for a random radio operator while you pass through tier 6) 3. Based on your own suggestion within the last Crew 2.0 attempt, the ability to train a crew for a second tech tree vehicle.   On top of that, I'd add:   1. Elite vehicles treated like premiums so that you can move crews within nation and tank class without penalty, or maybe even just within the research line. 2. Free arty location makes some sense too, I just saw no-one ask for it until I read it in the announcement.   Meanwhile, I am still absolutely NOT a fan of the proposed changes. I hope when you apply for your next job you are judged on your own merits, rather than the overall effect achieved by the other groups you work with (marketing, developers etc). However, that seems to be how you want to treat my crew members.   Incidentally, many of my crew members have been asking me why they can't be promoted above Major. I've patiently explained to some that their performance hasn't merited it, but in a few cases it clearly has. Maybe you could fix that too.

ApocalipticSnowflake: Zero perks are really good now i wouldn't call it ripoff. The scaling is huge for them for example:You have 4 perk crew without zero perks after conversion you get only the amount of experience of those 4 perks. Now add one zero perk to that crew which translates to 5th perk which in turn makes it ~1.6mil xp in value. Now add two zero perks that is a bit more of a stretch as you need to consider those are usually only commanders so we will take ~1.6 mil xp in value for 1st one and then commander itself has additional ~3.2 mil xp but it will be devided by number of crew members will use 4 which makes it so it's another additional 800k xp.  Those numbers scale really really fast.

Not sure if anyone else reported them already.    - If you have a recruited crew member with zero battles, it does not show up for conversion. I have new crews trained to 100% with one skill from crew books/zero skills for tanks I've researched but not bought yet. I'll lose them be forced to play a battle with them (probably I don't have premium tanks of all nations and types to test - but what about others?).
- When you recruit an instructor by going to crew -> Instructors (Add to crew) -> Recruit, the instructor will be recruited for that particular nation. That's nowhere written that's the case, and once recruited you can't change it apparently!
- If you try to convert a crew that is incomplete, you're in trouble. You can't retrain someone from your barracks as you can't access the old system anymore. If I would convert my obj 140 crew now, I can't take the driver in (due to the zero battles issue above) but I cannot retrain one of the other soviet drivers I have in the garage either! (edit due to pressing post too soon: I just found out I have to retrain them for gold or credits before converting...)

ApocalipticSnowflake: I'm not sure what happened if but if you had 1 skill that crewmember should be still accessible. One moment where it wouldn't is when you had 100% + up to 99% of a skill then those crew members are automatically converted into Crew Books. Point about instructors is noted.

ApocalipticSnowflake: Well i would say same way as currently so by playing. Only other way is to use free XP.  You can do many things with Crew 2.0. Min-Maxing is one of them. But i already saw many great ideas presented in this topic that i will be sure to share with our team.

Pay to Progress: If I buy this product (e.g. Premium Tank or Premium Account), I will move towards my goal quicker (e.g. more exp, more silver).   Pay to Win: If I buy this product (e.g. 10 x Instructors), I willI get an immediate advantage (e.g. a 5% boost in performance).   I’m surprised you missed that simple concept.

ApocalipticSnowflake:  I didn't miss it. That's exactly why i asked what exactly are we talking about. I can see from your (community wide) comments that it's really relevant topic that is constantly being brought up and that's very important for us to know.  Which i'm very grateful that you do point out things like that.  AD 1:

What happens to that lonely Radio Operator who I have spare ?   I have kept a lot of additional crew members (some are skilled and others aren't) so I can take my main tech tree tank crews out into my premiums whilst having the missing crew member in the premium ready to go.  Will I just lose all these crew members some how ?   Thanks for any information, thoughts and ideas :)

ApocalipticSnowflake: Yes you can us them like that. It is exactly why crew is unified.
