Jeremy Taylor: Yes, we have discussed that matter and this option may be implemented in future. Every new element (even the smallest one) leads to FPS increase when added to the core gameplay. That is why we have to test every new feature before performing it. Killmarks, as visual gameplay elements, will not be added into the game in the nearest future for the sake of FPS, which is very important for such a huge game like WoT. But in the release version, players will be assigned with medals and various statuses, showing their skills (e.g. Best Tank Destroyer or Tiger Hunter)

Jeremy Taylor: We call it European beta mainly because the clusters are located in Europe. No IPs blocking, sure. We can't guarantee low pings to the players from other parts of world than Europe. However, we have dozens of players from America (USA, Canada) in the Russian beta who admitted that the game has been very playable for them. With the additional cluster we installed, pings for Americans will even improve.
Additional clusters in the USA and Asia will definitely be launched later on.

MrVic: I know tiered combat is coming And with the addition of clan warfare and friend teams 2-3 people that I am sure more will be added as we progress.
Right now you can create channels with friends and such in them to chat and discuss things. So I think its safe to say they will have a lot of features
for groups and such to setup battles. As for customized battles I am not sure, I know more game modes are coming so who knows
Until recently the population of players has dictated the tiers and limitations on grouping and such. They did this to maintain better test data
With EU and RCBT going open, I think we'll see the first wave of new team features coming down the pipe to us

MrVic: I don't really qualify but I have driven a Sherman, Tiger I (tho as far as I went barely counts lol) Stuart, Bren Carrier.
I have ridden in a Chaffee, M10, T-34, M3 Lee, Bradley and misc support vehciles
I always wanted to drive a panther or ride in one while getting up in speed but there are so few in the world in operational status.

Sticking with actual tank statistics as close as they can and maintain a balance means many US tanks are going to be interesting.
So far WoT has worked hard and is still working hard to bring things in a a good balance. So far they have done a great job.
More tweaking will continue forever Its only going to get better from here on out.

MrVic: I vote panther.
It has the speed, armor, fire control, biggest of all is the suspension and the most stable firing platform on the move. In essence it was the first tank to truly move and be semi stable at shooting.
Ignoring maintenance ect (as these things are really dictated by variables in supply and availability of a army and basing purely on overall capability and performance)
Watch a video of a T-34 going full speed and firing a shot, watch the hull rock up and down ect. (while it was better then most not nearly the same as a panther)
Now watch a Abrams doing the same. Hull stays on a relative flat plane as it moves creating a very stable mobile firing platform.
Now watch a Video of a Panther on the move and you'll see the advantage a Panther has.
For a good part of WW2 most attempts were to stabilize the guns. The panther was one of the first to truly make a huge step forward in stabilizing the entire tank. Most tanks in WW2 moved slowly firing or came to a stop to fire for accuracy

MrVic: If your crew or teammate within radio range cannot see them due to range/camouflage/skill/obstacles you will see nothing. No tank no outline nada
Now if a shot is fired and your looking in their direction you can pick up on the vapor trail of the round usually giving you a decent idea where they might be.
The Devs have been making adjustments in some of the UI and icons and locations of tanks ect on the battlefield so further improvements are possible

MrVic: You gain exp by fighting and more for doing well in a battle. The exp is then used to purchase upgrades for you tank. In doing so there is a option to unlock the next tank in the tree you are progressing towards. After unlocking the next tank you then can purchase it with credits you earn in battle also. Thats the basic vanilla example
Now there are other means that help you progress with more freedom ect. For example the free exp pool ect or using guard tank modes and other systems. One thing to remember is you can work on more then one tank at a time. So your never locked into just going down one tree or one faction at a time. If you want to play it and work to it, its yours to have and to hold errr to drive and to destroy
