Tanitha: I'm not sure I understand the situation here, it was at the start of the game, no enemy was around, but you clan a tracer hack?
the old tracer cheat mods left your tracers on the screen, so what were you shooting at to leave tracers behind that early in teh game with no enemy around?
They can see your tracers if you haven't been firing.
So it seems to me it was a scout you didn't see, you running over tree's, camping in a common spot, or a lucky random shot.
But feel free to provide me with screenshots or other information in a pm if you wish.

Not sure why people are praising WG for making the mistake of not listening to us, then correcting their mistake at the brink of near self-inflicted Armageddon. The real title of this thread should be "Thank you WG for removing your head out of your anal sphincter at the last possible moment".

GeneralDirection: I hardly consider it time wasted, because the feature is enabled for the RU and EU clusters.

GeneralDirection: Exactly. For the health of the NA global map, that's why we chose to disable tank locking. Once the NA server's population grows, it may need to be considered. But for now it would be more harmful than helpful for the competitive nature of the feature.
Clan Wars is also still in beta, so things will no doubt change over time--everything from prime times for specific provinces, to gold earned, to features available.

Gaea: We had actually been speaking with many of the clan leaders of the NA server about this. A lot of clans were not happy with this tank locking. We also had the chance this week to speak with the Clan Wars designers here in Minsk, and we decided that they would implement the tank locking in the Russian server first and not on the NA server to basically test this system first for them and get the feedback from the Russian players. We discussed this in great detail with many NA clan leaders and their feedback was definitely taken into consideration during our discussion with the designers.
This does not mean that the tank locking will never actually be implemented on the NA server, but we are waiting to see the feedback from the Russian players about this before implementing it on the NA server.

It is not the most accurate time and it does not please everyone, but most likely it won't be changed until the North American maps are implemented. Adding an extra time zone on the European maps won't be necessary seeing the North American maps will be released in the near future.
I was definitely excited to have the chance to speak with the designers and share your feedback with them, and I was even more elated when I saw that they were willing to change their plans after hearing your suggestions.

GeneralDirection: There aren't currently any plans to increase clan sizes, but clan sizes should be indirectly addressed by the Diplomacy feature and the alliances that it will allow.

GeneralDirection: We'll discuss the feedback on the prime time change in the morning. It's still possible we can reconsider that particular change before the downtime is over.
With regard to opening up the map to a global stage, that will not be possible until development on the global map is fully complete. There are quite a few territories still in development. North America is next up for regions to be introduced on the NA server, and should address many of the time zone issues.

GeneralDirection: As far as I'm aware gold will not be awarded, since the state of the global map is frozen. Gold is earned in part by the risks of having to defend the provinces, and when the map is frozen that risk does not exist.
The reason tank locking is not being implemented is specifically because it will severely hurt the chances of newer clans breaking into the global map.

GeneralDirection: Nothing is broken. The downtime is to revert changes made to the NA server's global map, most notably tank locking. Since many clans requested a freeze during the holidays, we combined the two.
