lord_farquad: Excellent point. We did that initially, and then when we thought we had something we changed it to the regular format. Unfortunately it seems players still did not like the changes, so the discussion continued. Next time we will likely keep the initial announcement and discussion thread for longer.... lesson learned http://forum.worldof...le_honoring.gif

Right now the Division list is in the main page for the classic and it takes almost a full minute for the page to load or locks up completly and gives me a warning saying the page script is too long. It makes it a bit of a pain to try to see my own team since you have to go through the main page.

lord_farquad: Unfortunately that's not possible yet, however I have requested several changes to the tool we use because it takes me a while to load up that page too http://forum.worldof...mile-tongue.gif

It's bad enough the whiners got their way in the unneeded across the board nerfs without making it so even those that still have this tank cant play it in anything meaningful.

lord_farquad: The primary reason is because I haven't had time to properly evaluate the Lorraine since the last update to ensure it has been brought into balance. I would hate to allow them, only to have teams of 4 Lorraines dominate the tournament.

A good point limit is 35.

lord_farquad: As I mentioned before, nothing will be completely final until the tournament pages are posted. We are considering changing the point limit.

Tanitha: The feature isn't quite where we want it visually. While its functionality is there, we found through testing that there are still improvements to be made to the display on the tank.
So we've chosen to hold off on releasing it while the feature is polished more.

Also is the the 39 point limit the only limitation as in can we bring in more than 5 players if want ?

GeneralDirection: Teams are still limited to 5 in a battle. We'll discuss the effects of 7.2 on the Lorraine on Monday / Tuesday and come to a final decision for the April tournament.

That doesn't exactly encourage much diversity in the way of roster creation. 4 tier 8 mediums and either a tier 6 arty or a tier 7 heavy/medium. Boom, there's your championship team right there.

GeneralDirection: The point is for feedback, because lord_farquad is crazy and wants to try zany tournament concepts. If something sucks, let him know. If something is awesome, likewise.
We aren't going to admit to know everything -- that would be silly. We're counting on you guys to help by letting us know what you actually want. That includes each month after we have an idea of what to do next.

The battle list on the team page is completely out of order, would it be possible to get that changed so that the order of the list in some way reflects the order in which they will happen?

GeneralDirection: Are you referring to the divisions here, or something else? The "battle order" within a division should be as correct as it can get.

View PostEargesplitten, on Apr 01 2012 - 09:10, said: It would also be nice if we could click through to the teams from our team page.

GeneralDirection: Yep, this is something up for improving for all tournaments. The secondary page (division, playoff, etc.) doesn't allow clickable team names. Ultimately the team should link to its team page anywhere. :)

That said, I'm a huge fan of the way the T34 plays, so I think I'll spend all of my "credit farming" playing it. ;)

1300xp, 88000 credits (approx 18 penetrating shots. 5 kills, 5 more damaged.) Profit around 65k. I'm reasonably convinced that thats around the best i'll see on a semi-regular basis.
I also kept a running average for about the first 30 games, and found i was getting about 40k a match, with a 30kish profit after repair/rearm. Seems to be about 3 times what i was generating with my m4. (non-premium)

Seven games today 5 wins highest gross was 61000 every other game was under 50K... The XP average for those games was 787.... in a Lowe no question I would have made much more money on those games.
It is a free premium so there but it would take a crazy person to buy this tank over a Lowe at 500 gold difference in price.

Leichtraktor Company Contest
22500g divided by 15 players is 1500g...unless my math sucks.

GeneralDirection: There were like 30 teams that "won" so the total prize pool was divided. Suffice to say, additional rules will be needed before we do that type of event again so that there are proper prizes.
It was experimental though, so we figured there would be bumps in the road the first time.
