for the lower tier tournaments, as they were specifically designed
for the newer teams, while the tier 8 tournament was specifically
designed to accommodate the pro-level teams.

If that's your concern, then in the future I recommend you apply for the lower tier tournaments, as they were specifically designed for the newer teams, while the tier 8 tournament was specifically designed to accommodate the pro-level teams.

Captain_Judo: The tie-breaker rounds begin at 1:00 PM PST. The playoffs don't
officially begin until 3:30 PM PST. You can expect the playoff
schedule to be released shortly.
