Laera: Hey all!
Once again, I'm sorry that we're not able to accommodate everyone at Pizza Luce tonight. We had a set contract for around 50 people and that was blown right out of the water. While we were able to double that, we simply cannot pack more than 100 people in to that venue due to the contract (as well as the fire code).
Cowboy Jack's will serve as overflow venue but I want to be clear that Wargaming will be unable to provide food and drink there. It will simply serve as a spot for players to meet and hang out (which is the whole point of a Player Gathering). Please check in with me at Pizza Luce so I can make a note you attended and be sure you still get some awesome goodies.
I'm really sorry guys, if I had the budget I'd rent out the convention center for us. Sadly, tonight there is only one of me and 230+ of you, so please try to be patient. I understand all of your frustrations and will work to make sure this does not happen again.

_Dictator_, on Jul 08 2013 - 21:45, said: At the end of this stage
-All clans that have held at least one province at any time during this stage will receive 1,000 VP (limit once/clan).
-For each province owned at the end of Stage III, clans will receive 6,000 VP multiplied by the number of days that province has been held. In order to earn this bonus, each territory must be connected to the headquarters, and ownership time will only be counted from the beginning of this stage.
Question:So if I capture and hold province XYZ on day five (midway point) till the end (assuming 10-day stage), do I get a 5x multiplier? The bolded statement makes it seem like only if I held XYZ from Day 1. I checked with the RU server and there are decreasing multipliers.
Just want to get clarification on the wording.

Hypnotik: The bold part means that the number of days from previous stages
will not carry over into this stage. If you hold the territory at
the end of the stage, and you've held it for 5 days, your
multiplier will be 5.

familiar with the league format.
Is there a special battles tab for this event every monday and friday?
Where do we find out game schedules and standings etc?
Will the information continue to be updated on the same tournament page that our team was formed on?
Can I request transfers of players on the roster in the case where I have a player who cannot make it? if yes I have one player who I would like to switch for another who is already on the roster.

dance210: 1. Special battles will pop for the league on Mon and Fri. It
normally pops 10 min before battles begin.
2. It doesn't look like the page is up (or updated) with the game schedule and standings. That should be up later today, before the battles tonight.

Believe me, we would love to be able to accommodate everyone. However, the venue only supports 100, so we had to limit to that. We originally planned to invite 50, but because of the response, we were able to get it expanded to 100.
We'll definitely be back to the area in the near future. We were pleasantly surprised by the response. :)

Link on message: #4881938

Trevzor: I think you are missing a big point here. The Foch is a tank
destroyer. It is designed solely to find, engage, and kill tanks. I
haven't looked at its stats in terms of alpha, reload, etc. but I
can tell you this, it will ruin just about any tank's day. Yes, the
Foch has come crazy front armour, but that is about all it has for
armour. I do believe it has less than 2k hit points as well. That
means that when it gets flanked or artied that the Foch is going to
have a bad day. Honestly, 1400 point shots from my 261 are very
common amongst the Foch family. Plus, a batchat getting behind it,
forget about it.
Really, at the end of the day you need to have a dynamic play style that can change on a moment's notice based on the tanks you are facing. Look at the enemy team composition and determine how you can play based on that. "No arty, no big TD? May god have mercy on these poor souls." That sort of concept.

Subject: Question about AT 2
Link on message: #4880371
Link on message: #4880371
Trevzor: Every tank has weak points and every person can learn them. In my
experience AT 2 is best driven in one of two ways. Mid range with
the 6 pounder, and in your face with the derp. The first is the
more forgiving play style as you will not need to focus on moving
but shooting and staying hidden. That 6 pounder is a bullet hose
that can wreck a tier 5 and anger a 6. The derp is a tough style
because you always need to be: a) moving and b) turning. Yes, the
hat is weak and yes, the guns are accurate. Your job is to keep
that hat moving so no one can hit it. This is a good way to play if
there is a lack of derp on the other team, as most guns in 5/6
matches won't punch through the front of this tank dead on. Just
remember to not get flanked. As Lert likes to say "step one, find
enemy. Step two, pick fight." As you bounce 2k damage on average,
laugh and drink in the tears of your enemies.

all for nothing? No compensation for those who DID login
AND got into the last minute matches? None
whatsoever? I think the participants could use a bit
more compensation than a problem ignored and a matching reset for
something Wargaming screwed up.

Major_Rampage: Yes you need to destroy 5 US Tanks in a German, or
Destroy 5 German Tanks in a US Tank.
So Destroying 3 US Tanks in a German Tank, and then 2 German Tanks in a US Tank will not get you the reward.
