Subject: Flashback: Slow and Steady Weekend
Link on message: #6397791
Valan, on Jan 16 2014 - 16:05, said: Will there be any alteration of how & when news for
promotions and or specials will be released by Wargaming NA in
2014? For example, a current ongoing special is the 'On the
Track' series of bonuses & credits for a given tank line.
Will customers receive more insight into how each of the promotions
interlocks with each other? Does this weekend's special
perhaps foreshadow overcoming 'On the Track(s)' for the IS-4,
FV215b, FV215 (183) lines? After all, tanks from these particular
lines are on bonus & discount this weekend. Is Wargaming NA
& Minsk going to give customers a greater heads' up? Or not?
BTW: Any chance in the next 3 months premium time will go on
discount again? If not, guess I'll 'save' my IS-6 mission's
gold reward till next Labor Day, Memorial Day or perhaps Xmas if
Wargaming NA is rather 'tight' with its promotion offers.
(The longer scouting matchmaking weighting exists, the more it will
cost Wargaming customers. This harms the overall playing
environment of WoT. Please sent your messages to Serb to have it
fixed, this year.)

start most of the time. We have changed the way On Track
runs so you will be seeing it start on a Monday and run for two
weeks. There will be times when the On Track and Weekend do
interact, you will have to wait and see how that works out,
I have something special planned in the later have of
February like that. As for any up coming discounts on
Premium Time, you will have to watch the portal for any up
coming announcements in regards to that.
I am sorry you are unhappy with scout match making, if you would like to make a suggestion about that we have a dedicate section on the forums for that, which you can find here.

other tanks no so much. So having a bad battle in a

were expecting a match to show up later that night, and to remain
on standby (as our team did). Now I would assume that
the 3 top performing teams in each group definitely had a bye
(correct me if I'm wrong). Lastly, when should we expect the
full roster for the 1/64 stage to be completed?

tomorrow. However, you can already determine who your opponent will
be by looking at the playoff round 1 (1/128) list. Our system has
already paired opponents for playoff round 2. But this will be more
clear after we manually advance the teams owning a bye in the 1st
round.

Friday, January 17th. Think of yourself as an NFL team
earning a bye through the wild card round. Now that the wild card
round is complete, your opponent awaits you.

Captain_Judo: Resources are available. Byes were brought up in this thread. The
FAQ specifically answers this question as well. And the schedule
was posted before noon eastern time. When you saw that your team
wasn't matched against an opponent, what conclusion did you come
to? I only ask so that we can forward these concerns if the UI is
unclear.

1/64 round (128 is the nearest 2^x, where x is equal to
7). As you have 6 x 24 + a few that survived the
group stage, you need to eliminate some of them (16+ these few
extra) in the first play offs to get to 128.That excess number
seems to be 22, If I count correctly.

first playoff round. This what the schedule shows you by a blank
opponent. Beginning with the second playoff round, all teams
will play with only winners advancing. Please note that teams with
byes have to be manually progressed by our staff into the next
round, unlike those teams that played where our system
automatically moves them.
