HBFT:   The Facebook contest allowed players to use any tank, not just the TOG-II.  The example that Ribblerabble made just happened to have the TOG-II in it because...why wouldn't you? xD   With regards to submissions from there being used here, the entries for this contest should be exclusively designed for this contest.   So, unfortunately they cannot.  

HBFT:   Well Pizzastorm and a number of the WG staff will all choose their favorites, we order them and assign points based on position and then we tally points.  Simple process really.

HBFT:   Absolutely!  Anyone who is not chosen for the larger prizes will receive 500 gold.   As a sidenote:  The cards that we have received already are AMAZING.  Seriously...you have all outdone yourselves. Sidenote to the sidenote:  It's going to be really hard to stay disciplined to choose cards based on the cards themselves and not the recipe inside!  Some of the cake recipes that you have all chosen look soooo tasty... >_< Sidenote to the sidenote of this sidenote:  <3 all of you!

HBFT:   It's alright, sometimes even I am confused by it all.   During each of the weeks, just choose a tank that you think will win in the bracket posted in the OP and play in it.  If the tank that you played in wins and you scored one of the top base XP scores in a single random battle game, then you will get the prize for that week.    

HBFT:   It is all automatic.  At the end of each specified "week", we will automatically find out which vehicles are the "winners" for that week and then pull the top base XP scores for those "winning" tanks.  No need for players to do anything other than to play and get one nice random game.  The neatest part is that participating in this event will also conveniently align you with the Wargaming's Own mission that is available and potentially get you onto the Wargaming's Own leaderboard as well!

HBFT:   We are looking to update the leaderboards on a two-times-a-week cadence at the start.  We would like to post a baseline leaderboard-set sometime today.  (These leaderboards would only cover the games from yesterday 4/1)  

HBFT:   We definitely discussed the exclusion of platoons from generating valid base XP scores for this competition, but there were a few obstacles in the way that made it less than feasible to do so.  Part of Wargaming's Own is that it is a competition that everyone enters organically just by playing.  It was our hope that this would be something exciting that people could participate in without separating players from playing with their friends for an entire year.   That having been said, as this competition progresses in its current format we will learn many things about what works and doesn't work (e.g. platoons, etc.).  That way we can adjust it in the future.   With regards to the current situation, what is acceptable regarding platooning?   At the moment we are treating each situation on a case-by-case basis.  Fortunately, the leaderboards naturally restrict the field from which we will need to keep an eye on (we will not have to look at every single entry on the NA server, thank goodness).  Personally, as scout matchmaking provides a 3-tier spread, I would keep my platoon tier spread within that range.  However, as I stated prior, we realize that there are players who are a part of this competition who may not even realize it themselves.   So, when you're playing I just ask that you have fun, compete if you want to, or just enjoy the fact that everyone has access to some neat missions/prizes to go along with their regular play...and know that we're not here looking to ban a bunch of accounts for violating some contest rule.  Above all, Wargaming's Own should enrich your experience, not detract from it.   I hope that answers your question and sorry for getting kinda preachy.

Koenig_Tiger: The Stand-To is Wargaming’s popular daily tournament (named after WWI’s daily face off against the enemy where soldiers were expected to stand ready on the trench fire step, preparing for attack).   Now it’s your turn to roll into the fray. So gather your friends, grab your favorite tank and defend your base. As a daily tournament, you can choose whether you want to Stand-To every day or only once in a while.   All active tournaments can be found by searching the Tournaments Home Page.   Registration Open: Stand-To 4.06.15 Tournament Page Registration Stand-To 4.07.15 Tournament Page Registration   Basic Tournament Information:   Team Size: 4 combatants + 2 reserves Tier Point Limit: 24 Tier Limits: This represents the max tier allowed. Teams are allowed to bring lower tiers. Disputes must be submitted immediately after the round has concluded. Disputes must be emailed to tournaments@wargamingamerica.com The email subject/title must include the word “Dispute:” followed by the name of the event for which you are filing a dispute. Disputes may only be filed by the team captain or any team member listed under team’s contact details.   Disputes must include the following in the body of the email or risk having the dispute dropped by tournament administration: In-game name of the player submitting the dispute Date of the Stand-To Your team’s name with a link to your team’s page created for you during registration Your opponent’s team name and a link to your opponent’s team page created during registration Reason for dispute: e.g. “I would like to report the team for using a tank that was not allowed, the StuG III.” An attached replay of the disputed battle(s)   Additional notes: Opposing team captains will be alerted of the dispute by forum PM after the dispute is processed. Captains are responsible for monitoring their PM inbox. Three upheld disputes during a group stage reverses all scores from the offending team for that round.
