Jahpero: Ca va honnêtement on a vu pire. Je trouve plutôt son post acceptable. Laxonnais a eu une mauvaise session et a posté sans insultes. Falathi: For now, frankly, it`s impossible to say. I believe it would be rebalanced as well as the ammo rebalance is a global one. But then, it`s way too early to say for sure. After all - LefH SPG still has APs and high HE pen despite global rework of the SPG ammo some time ago.

So well... it can change. Or not. I believe that in any case that some consideration will be given to it as it is a premium vehicle relying on HE shells.

Falathi: While I see why people are concerned... correct me if I`m wrong, but we`re talking about the stuff that is being tested on Sandbox and has not been introduced in the live server, right?

Please, I can see reason behind such threads if these changes were introduced just like that in the live server and affected several tanks.

However, this is not even a test server, it`s a Sandbox and just like some ideas tested in the Sandbox - it can be tuned, it can be pushed forward, it can be scrapped altogether and in any case it will be quite some time before it`s introduced in the game - if at all.

Falathi: SPG have not been changed in this iteration and honestly can`t say if, and how they would be changed. @Zer0RNG The thing is that if we`re going to rebalance all ammo then we should include HE as well.
As for HESH: they are a separate sort of ammunition and are not included in this iteration. It looks they won`t treated the way they are now - as just HE with better pen.

Falathi: In short: ammo rework is a big change. It will affect, to lesser or greater degree all classes of vehicles and has a good chance of changing way many tanks are played - and in many cases in a pretty positive way. Also, we want to change the way ammo works now - if we were perfectly satisfied with it, why would we even consider introducing such a big change?

That being said - we prefer to test it all thoroughly before proceeding to testing on the live server. It may still be the case that the general idea is sound, but in any case testing is necessary.

Oh, speaking of the rebalance - keep in mind, that rebalance of the ammo would affect many tanks, and potentially buff some vehicles that are UP now. There really is a pretty big picture behind all this testing guys.

Falathi: Guys, just a short reminder as we`re effectively waiting to see the results of the test:
This is a Sandbox. Changes tested in Sandbox are usually pretty serious because we want to check how the game would look like and what the results of some serious changes would be. How would they affect the game?
And the key point is: it is a Sandbox. Some things tested here made it into the live server after the test results were satisfactory. Some were scrapped altogether. It is too early to say that yes, these changes will be implemented as they can be scrapped, or changed. I understand the concerns, but guys - it`s really a bit too early to say for sure how this will affect the live server as it may or may not happen at all.

Jokes aside, it does not look bad, I expect the playstyle to be similar to T30 so more of a pseudo-heavy than a "true" TD.

Falathi: Speaking of this - T103 is much more like a heavy with decent turret, strong gun and average hull than a typical TD. T30 - I don`t have it so I can`t compare but it seems to be somehow similar when it comes to playing style.

For people who consider this or Su-130PM: these two vehicles have three things in common:
- both are Soviet TDs- both have very similar, pretty powerful gun
- they both have turrets.

Almost everything else is different.

As for KV-2® and the Sandbox:
1. The Sandbox is just a test. It is not decided if these changes would make it to the live server at any point in time. They are being tested and much depends on the results of the testing. 2. It is possible that the changes would be reverted, there would be another iteration, there would be another approach.
3. There is also an open question IF and if so HOW premium and special vehicles would be changed, or affected. It really is too early to say for sure what is going to happen.

CLRG: Yes Klemenf16 I'm afraid you do need to have your own Tier VIII. Sadly this means if you do not have one, you won't be able to play. There are some lower Tiers tournaments out there though, why not try a Tier VI tournament, until you are up to the Tier VIII challenge? Good luck out there!

You won’t even be able to run away! So the most important decision you have to make is how you’re going to die! and then it starts raining arty shells because there are 3 arty a side and the enemy tank is 2 tiers higher and your regular shells just bounce off for zero damage as you couldn’t afford any gold ammo yourself.

Even better would be if you could throw in bots to shoot at.

Falathi: Possibly. However, lower damage means that, potentially, this 75mm shell would do very little damage - unlike your AP shell.

This actually shows why we need to test the stuff - without testing we do not know with certainty how well the rebalance would work. And sometimes testing can confirm, or question initial assumptions.

Podobnie zobaczymy co będzie się działo z KW-2, czy T49. Podejrzewam, że w takiej czy innej formie zachowają swój unikalny charakter.
