Brynd:   Though looking at registration numbers, this doesn't seem to have been an issue. Teams that are really aiming for the top positions would probably be wise to link up with top pilots and teams from previous World of Warplanes tournaments, such as Warplanes United or even the player-run Dogefighter tournament.   

Brynd:   Well that's not very sporting!    At the very least you could act as a decoy for the enemy planes, so others in your team can shoot them down!! 

Ectar: Greetings Commanders,   Due to recent changes in our warning point system, we wanted to update you all with what has changed and why.   Automatic warning point removal Since about October 2013, the majority of warning points added to a forum account for rule violations have a limited time period.     If a player is given 1 warning point, this will be removed automatically after 3 months. If a player is given 2 warning points this will be removed automatically after 6 months. If a player is given 3 warning points, this will not be removed automatically.  3 warning points are for major rule violations and it's very unlikely they would be removed manually by Community Staff. you have to do something pretty bad to get 3 warnings points for a single violation that that's something which will stay with you.   A players individual warning points will only be visible to themselves. (No other players can see your warning points). All active warning points and expired warning points will always be visible to Moderators and Community Team Members. This information can be used when applying sanctions to accounts. (If for example a player has had multiple warnings for the same reason or constantly picks up new warnings when the old one expires for example, the next warning point could be upgraded to a more severe warning).    Educational warnings Educational warnings are normally applied before players get a warning point for a minor rule violations. It's important to understand that in most instances these are situations where Moderators are doing you a favour and cutting you some slack.  If a player has broken a rule which is classed as medium (2 warning points) or severe (3 warning point), educational warnings do not apply and players will be suspended.   The educationals are there to act as a warning and a request to please change your ways and not carry on posting what has been highlighted.  In the past these minor violations could lead to players getting warning points and suspensions right away however we want to educate players first and give you a chance to learn from your mistakes. Players are given multiple educational warnings before we start applying warning points and suspensions.   Swear filter Since October 2013 a swear filter has also been activated on the forums to help cut down the amount of reports/minor offences. We would like to remind players that everyone should be capable of getting their point across without having to resort to swearing or insults. Players found to be deliberately miss-spelling words to get around this filter will pick up educational warnings or warning points and suspensions depending on their individual circumstances.  Basically please don't swear at each other Commanders, you're here because you like playing our game and we don't want an unnecessary hostile atmosphere because people are taking things too seriously.  If something upsets you then get up & take a walk, play another game, read a book, watch a movie and chill out.  Don't post when you're emotional/angry as that never ends well.  *Please note we don't need people testing the filter or suggesting words. Just know it's there as an extra cover and please try to avoid using harsh language when talking on the forums.*   Warning point appeal/review If you have been warned recently by a Moderator and wish to appeal against the action -  Please follow the instructions as detailed in question 22 of our forum FAQ If you are warned by a Community Manager or Community Coordinator and wish to appeal against the action, - Please send a PM to Mr_Kubrick    If you have picked up warning points before October 2013 and wish to have these removed/reviewed, please contact a senior Moderator or the Lead Moderator Mr_Kubrick who will be able to assist you with this. Please send a PM with the message title "Warning Point Review". Please note that it must be at least 3 months since you picked up your last warning points.  Senior Moderators:

ElTRIC   We cannot guarantee that all of a player's warning points will be removed if they were gained prior to October 2013, each account is reviewed on an individual basis and it depends on the reason for your previous warning points. Sometimes for examples players may be asked to wait a few more months without picking up new warnings.   For moderation purposes, players can have a total of 9 active warning points. When you get 10, you'll be given a permanent forum "read only" suspension.  This means you will still have access to your forum account, you're able to read topics, but you can no longer reply. Before a player is given their 10th warning point they will be given a very clear "Final warning". This is your last chance to change your ways, there is no 2nd chances after a final warning. (As by that stage you've been warning more than enough times). If a player continues to abuse the forums rules via PM's or content posted on their profile page, they will then be permanently suspended. This means you no longer will have access to your forum account. *Please note it's possible for a players to go straight to permanent suspension rather than read only depending on the reason for their suspension and their warning history.*   Alt accounts The use of alt accounts on our forums is permitted.  Making an alt account however just for the purpose of trolling or trying to avoid picking up warnings for your main account isn't permitted. This will result in that alt getting forum banned pretty quick.   We want our forums to be a welcoming place for all of our players to come and ask questions, interact and discuss with each other and share helpful information and stories. You will encounter thousands of players from different countries who share different experiences and come from vastly different backgrounds. While certain language and images may not be offensive to you, consider the fact that that same language and images may have a completely different meaning to someone else.

Brynd:   It's not clearly stated, unfortunately.  But "All entries will be collated and judged.." means that they will be judged by the community team, as with other contests.   We're sorry this wasn't more clearly stated.

Dakiras:   noun - "a period of time following the moment of speaking or writing; time regarded as still to come."    In all seriousness, I don't have a definite answer as the implementation of it has not been confirmed yet; however, the requests haven't gone unnoticed.

Tuccy: Well, rather varied - books, internet, mentions in passing by researchers (for example the USMC load is thanks to Kenneth Estes). Yugoslavian loadouts came, as mentioned, from one of active WoT players as he got through some nice archivalia that were not published yet (nobody cares much about Yugoslavian army). More came from Lone Sentry etc...   Large part of Russian data came from the "Солянкин А.Г., Павлов М.В., Павлов И.В., Желтов И.Т.: Отечественные бронированные машины. ХХ век" (lot of obscure details in all 3 parts of the book series).

Rhaya:   Bonjour,   Le canal n'est pas privé, c'est un canal public que n'importe quel joueur de World of Tanks peut rejoindre. Il est vrai que celui-ci invite les joueurs Français car vous l'avez créé pour la communauté, cependant l'ensemble des règles s'y appliquent tout comme les canaux de clans. Si l'un d'entre vous reporte des infractions sur ces chats (FR, Clans...), elles seront sanctionnées, tout comme, les modérateurs peuvent également faire des passages inopinés.   Le fait de vous laisser un espace de parole et de ne pas le contrôler souligne simplement qu'on vous fait confiance pour ne pas dépasser les bornes de ce qui est acceptable ou non. Cependant, si cela venait à charger pour XX raisons, nous n'hésiterons pas à être plus présents et à ressortir le fouet n'en déplaise à certains que ce soit sur les forums ou sur les chats en jeu.   Et pour ceux qui voudraient relancer un débat qui n'a pas lieu d'être, voila notre réponse !   Rhaya

Rhaya: Bonjour,   Petit rappel pour ceux qui n'auraient pas lu le règlement du Concours, il faut poster une image de participation et une image avec l'interface permettant de vous identifier sur la capture d'écran.   Par ailleurs, nous n'avons rien contre l’utilisation d'un mod permettant d'utiliser la caméra en mode libre. La diversité des images n'en sera que meilleur ! Nous ne considérons pas la caméra libre comme modifiant l'image, seulement l'angle et le recul, seuls les modifications à l'aide de logiciel tierce permettant de retoucher l'image (éclairage, couleurs..etcc) ne sont pas autorisés.   Rhaya

W4RGAMER: Kurzes Update, ich will nicht lang stören. Wir haben nach einigem Überlegen beschlossen dieses Event mal in den Offtopic Bereich zu verschieben und dort zu pinnen. Das ist keine Abwertung des Events, sondern nur eine Einordnung in einen korrekteren Bereich. (Ist einfach kein regionaler Wettbewerb. )    Viel Erfolg noch dabei, wir behalten das auf jeden Fall fest im Auge.    Gruß vom Community Team

Anyhow, as fun as this may seem to you, it's actually diverting our efforts from helping players / sorting issues / reporting errors / forwarding feedback because instead of all of that.... we need to close spam threads created by members that think they are being funny.    So yes. Thread locked. Please think twice before posting like this in the future.

iScending: Let's not troll support shall we :P? We don't allow players to troll other players so, ofc, we won't allow trolling of staff.   Got an issue with the CS department? Make a new ticket, request that it gets forwarded to the lead representative and they can then investigate your complaints further.

Wir hatten ja, wenn ihr mal in >diesem Post< schaut, schon gehofft da etwas unternehmen zu dürfen. Es hat sich aber leider an der Sachlage die Baba dann in >diesem Post< beschrieben hat noch nichts geändert. Sollte es da Änderungen geben, wir also grünes Licht für eine solche Liste bekommen, werden wir die mit Freuden veröffentlichen. Dakiras: I believe this was something that has been requested a few times before and that request has been passed on to the development team. It's a good suggestion, so hopefully we'll see this in a future update soon. :)

iScending: Thread locked as OPs original question have been answered. pilldriver69 please don't "hijack" threads, it's difficult for us to see that you have an issue then. Add to this that it has been investigated already and that you have had your final answer I'd implore you to please accept it, learn from your actions and move on.

Dakiras:   That's sound advice. Missions really are a great way to boost income. For me, it's a little tricky with the times that I can play but this is something I do try.   Anyway, don't mean to derail the thread... but as a pretty average player still on the learning curve I like to see good info being shared. The best way to learn is from the experienced players, right?

Es freut uns für jeden Spieler, der keine oder weniger Probleme zu haben scheint. In gleichem Maße setzen wir uns aber für alle anderen Spieler ein, um auch ihnen ein problemloses Spielen zu ermöglichen. 

nRicochet:   Vielen Dank für das Protokoll, coolathlon.   Eine kurze Erinnerung: Auch wenn wir in der Vergangenheit, als es darum ging, eine Vielzahl an Protokollen zu erhalten, hier im Forum zur Veröffentlichung aufgerufen haben, so sind momentan diese Pingplotter- und TraceRoute-Protokolle beim Customer Support besser aufgehoben, da wir als Community Team diese nicht mehr direkt verarbeiten können.   Solltet ihr den Support mit einem Pingplotter-Protokoll von mindestens 30 Minuten während der Latenzprobleme anschreiben, bitte fügt immer eure "Public IP" hinzu, wenn sie noch nicht im Protokoll erscheint. Eure IP könnt ihr auf > dieser Webseite < herausfinden. Wichtig: Um eure Anonymität zu wahren könnte ihr die letzten drei Stellen der IP durch ein "x" ersetzen! (Beispiel: 185.12.240.x)   Danke!
