dance210:   1. The tournament page has always stated that teams can play a maximum of 7 battles - which equals a maximum of 8 teams per group. This isn't the first time groups have had 8 teams rather than 6 teams. 2. Teams are welcome to join or not join. As stated above, the rules state that teams can play a maximum of 7 battles, and prizes were originally calculated based on groups of 8.

dance210:   If there is an even number of teams in a group, due to limitations of the tournament system, one team gets "stuck" on one side of the map. This has been a part of the system for several years now, and there is currently no way to change it.
