Any one lesson learned in tank design during WW2?

The_Chieftain:   Yep. As I said, if it’s out of the fight, it isn’t a danger to the enemy and will play no further part in the current battle. Maybe they should build more fuel efficient tanks, or better protect the supply lines against enemy interdiction....
