The_Chieftain: More of a magnum opus, really (I swapped books with
Volketten, so I've seen it already). I didn't think it was possible
to write so much about TOG. I'm not sure what's more impressive,
that all the records were kept, or that Volketten managed to stay
sane enough going through all those fine details long enough to
actually make a book out of it. I found it rather dry, tough going
(I think it goes into -too- much detail for only a couple of
sittings), but if it's the complete technical history you want down
to part numbers, one cannot do better on any vehicle. I do plan on
plugging it in the future, but we have other book priorities for
the next month or two on this end. One question, though,
since it comes up, Volketten. Your book states that the difference
between TOG II and TOG II* is in the electric power train. David
Fletcher's video says it's the suspension system. I'm inclined to
go with yours simply because it looks to me from the outside that
the real vehicle has suspension mounting bolts on the hull,
but it also strikes me as a very odd mistake for David to make.
