The_Chieftain: I would wager there is much to be said for the target
demographic. That Steeler who showed up for the anthem is getting a
whole heck of a lot of attention. To be sure, though, his staff
have a right to do what they want in the Anthem as you infer,
and but Petty also has the right to fire them. In the US,
Constitutional protections cannot be applied to individuals, which
is why it is commonly said that "You have the right to say what you
want, but that doesn't protect you from consequences." It's kindof
interesting the legal structure, actually. The US Constitution is a
framework for government. The Irish Constitution provides rights to
people. Thus, for example, the right to be secure in your dwelling
(i.e. the 4th in the US) applies to cops and search warrants, etc,
but a burglar entering into your house is a violation of your
constitutional protections in Ireland wheras it is a mere tort in
the US. As to the email thing, the politico article seems to
indicate that though it may look bad, it may not have been illegal.
Back on WG gaming news, latest info on the Graf Zepp
[Edited] is that they will be taking away the all-or-nothing nature
of the DB AP squadrons, and trying out torpedo squadrons. But there
is an interesting twist, they are being described as "deep
runners", so a number of DDs in particular will be immune to them.
It's designed to make the idea of killing off a DD early in the
game a little difficult. That said, it also makes the CV entirely
defenseless against a DD which is coming after it.
