The_Chieftain: That's the bigger problem. The price of 40k miniatures is
just insane. When I collected my armies, they were a lot more
affordable, and that's only a relative term. On the other hand, if
I wanted to play with my 1/300 scale H&R miniatures, at about
30cent per tank, getting an army becomes much more affordable. (The
downside is that the rules aren't fast, so fewer players).
I'm a firm believer in computer-moderated wargames. Shipbase, for
example, was a fantastic idea.
