I would have to disagree with letting others help you make a video. People with guilds/clans would have an obvious advantage due to scripted and well thought out and coordinated scenes. Your every day regular player can't do that, all that's available to him/her is random unscripted moments that happen during actual battles he is participating in. You might say; but everyone can go out and get some players and have them help, it's not that easy though. I would reckon most of use here are not in clans and have jobs/families to attend to. Finding the time to coordinate such an event without already being affiliated would be extremely hard in such a short time span. I understand that scripted videos look much better and capture the imagination a lot better but that's exactly the reason why it would almost automatically ruin the chances of someone who does not have others to rely on. If you wanna make scripted videos for everyone to be in awe by all means go for it, but, I personally think they shouldn't be allowed in the contest. If you wanna tell a story with your video I think it can be achieved by just capturing random battle moments and showcasing your directing/editing skills.
Lets give everyone a fair chance and keep this a User Video Contest and not a Clan Video Contest.
