The grinding nature of the matches (xp and cash) invests the addicts to the fate of each game, as the drive towards bigger and better weaponry and the virtual l33tness ensues. In part, that grind elicits this behaviour. Everyone becomes an authority, impatient and unfriendly. The players who are on constantly are, not surprisingly, also likely quite bored with the CTF mechanic on the same few maps, with no other gameplay options enabled as yet (tiered; national-only teams; more maps; different objectives; persistent world of clan warfare; etc..). In any case, as one poster alluded to earlier, there's not much more to actually beta test at this point (hopefully players have been reporting terrain bugs, etc), so until more features are implemented, a break from the beta is likely in order anyways.
