frustrations I am having. I'm still very new here (around ~325
battles) and am just looking for some advice to guide me on the
right track. First thing and biggest thing is any good
resources for map tactics. My biggest frustration is I just never
know where to go now that I have hit the bigger maps outside of
tiers 1-3. I'm settling into my PZ IV H and am basically following
the heavy tanks into battle every game. This can be a real crap
shoot if they also dont know where they are going. I just feel like
I am constantly caught in a bad spot on the map or in a bad overall
position. I'm having trouble finding reliable youtube sources
(seems like way too many highlight reels) and the one sight I found
with map tactics (I think it was wotguru) has been a little
helpful, but it seems outdated. I also don't have any friends that
play this game so I cant really get a good practice match going
yet. Second would be...I keep getting DESTROYED by artillery
it feels like. It's probably something I am doing wrong, but I'll
find myself in a good groove exchanging fire and supporting the
heavies and I just get blasted. Should I be moving and
repositioning? I understand that this is happening because I have
been spotted and they can see me, but I'm not seeing how to avoid
it when I dont have the room to be racing around avoiding artillery
blasts when I have other tanks barrelling down on me across the
way. Lastly, since the PZ IV H is probably something I am
going to sit on and learn the game in for awhile, does anyone have
some good info for it? I am running with the 10.5 derp gun.
Basically using peek a boom tactics. This seems to work fine until
I inevitably get over zealous and expose myself way too much (need
to learn some more patience). I also put a gun rammer, binoculars
and vents on it. My crew is at 100% and I am training my first set
of skills (6th sense, snap shot, smooth ride, situational awareness
and repairs on the loader). Thanks!
KRZYBooP: Welcome to World of Tanks! The game of high stakes hide
and seek. As a heavy tank, your job is to brawl other heavy tanks,
but some tanks tend to do that better. The PZ IV H has a lot of
flat surfaces and is kinda difficult to get that perfect 70-degree
auto bounce angle. As far as Arty goes you should be moving and
trying to find a rock/building to hide behind. Don't stay clumped
up with a bunch of fellow heavies since they are easy
targets. In case you haven't done so check out the
videos I posted HERE. They go over all the basics in detail and
explain many of the mechanics behind the ballistics our game engine
uses, and the Camo mechanics so you can learn to fire without being
seen. Another great resource is Tanks.gg It
offers a live view of how likely a tank will be able to pen your
tank with what round at and, at what angle. Click HEREto see the PZ IV H. If you would like more
live assistance please join our discord with the link in my
