my take ... from what I gather, the "Defender" version, due to its
proprietary paint job is like the Skorpion ... in that its camo
will be slightly worse than a premium camo paint job (can anyone
confirm this just to be sure?) ... add to this, the striking
appearance of both the paint job AND the unique lack of mud flaps,
makes this tank particularly easy to ID and tag in terms of
strengths and weaknesses. So while the base take should be
identical, IMHO the secondary considerations I bring up, would make
the defender arguably "prettier" ... but slightly worse than a
fully upgraded "Plain Jane" model with the added premium camo ...
So, unless its confirmed that the new defender pain job is
somehow efficient at +3 game camo ... I'd be leery about buying it
... especially since there still is the flapless ID factor no
matter what. Now in terms of 'blending in' ... this tank has
a passing resemblance to the IS6, so its not unreasonable for there
to be times of momentary confusion when spotted visually at
moderate distance ... a factor that would be significantly
reduced the stand out details of the Defender variant.
GhostPrime: The defender does have the slight bonus to camo just as
the other premium tanks with a special skin do. Similar to the
patriot, and the T26E5.
