Intel vs AMD

DomoSapien: I've used Intel in every PC I've ever built, but I hear that the new Ryzen series AMD Chips are pretty solid. Regardless, though, I always go with Intel and nVidia for CPU and GPU, generally on a Gigabyte Motherboard if I can find a good one for a good price. I've never had any CPU or Motherboard issues so for me those are basically just tried and true.   I will also echo everyone's sentiments that WoT is mostly GPU-intensive, rather than CPU. You'll get by on a new mid-range ryzen CPU for a good while for most games, honestly. I'm on an i7 6700K and a Titan X, running WoT on Ultra in 4K with very occasional dips into sub-60-fps territory. Not AMD, but definitely a few years old now without any major compromises on Graphics.
