CabbageMechanic: Hey Tankers!
We continue to work on improving the Clan reward tanks. These are four Tier X vehicles awarded for participation in Global Map activities: the 121B, the T95E6, the VK 72.01, and the M60.
In their second Supertest, we are going to introduce several tweaks based on the previous round of testing. 121B
We’re keeping the new concept for this one: an agile and maneuverable ride with great spotting range and camo (one of best among Tier X medium tanks). We feel that we took the right approach, but the 121B is still lacking in mobility. So in the second round of testing we’ll boost its engine from 580 to 700 hp (and specific power from 15.3 to 17.5 hp): higher than that of Soviet medium tanks! You’ll get a fast tank efficient at long distances. T95E6
This large American makes a great medium distance damage dealer. Still we must admit that we were too rough on it. In the second round we’ll restore its former gun accuracy and armor penetration, and will keep the rest of the changes. The second testing iteration of the T95E6 will become more mobile, with better DPM and gun stabilization. The HP pool will remain lowered (by 100) as a support medium tank just shouldn’t be equal to heavies in this department. VK 72.01
This tank will remain a Global Map heavyweight used to tie down a much larger enemy force—by taking lots of punishment while also punching back. The first round of testing has shown that the 72.01 can do this fine even without extra HP, so we’re ditching these. Yet we want the VK to last even longer on the battlefield. So we’re making its turret even tougher by improving the weaker spots like the gun mantlet and the forward part of the turret ring. We’re letting go of the improved gun stabilization as this tank is most often employed as a stationary firing point. M60
This tank will enter the second phase completely unchanged. We’ll see how perfect the tweaks are Best of luck in your battles and make sure to follow the news!
