Like when people see an Ausf-B, Maus, JagdTiger, ISU-152, IS-7. Those tanks are way more feared then a Leopard.
Reason why. Those tanks I just named can take out at least 2-3 tanks of your team before that tank is going down.
A Leopard may be cheering if he can get 1 arty and then dies.
So I find your Leopard story not correct

ARGO: This story is based on observation, I myself am a Leopard killer
not a driver. But we can all agree, Leopards wreak havoc and create
anarchy on the enemies base until they are killed or leave. BTW,
there are many other great scout tanks but this one seems the most
plentiful ingame in my opinion...
