Long_Range_Sniper, on 22 October 2017 - 04:34 PM, said: That's reassuring. Well, nobody in Wargaming seems to know,
so you might as well ask me. Then your entertainment company
is incompetent. Because if the poor schmuck asked to front that
company to their customers hasn't a clue what's going on it doesn't
matter if Albert Einstein has been resurrected and is working on
the problem with Alan Turing. As far as your customers are
concerned it might as well be Bob the guy who was passing WG HQ and
said "Yeah, I've got a Sinclair ZX 81, I'll have a look." I
think we have a different view on what's a professional approach to
giving confidence to your customers. If you're in an IT
company, fronting an IT company, and you don't know anything about
IT, then you've got two choices. Don't admit it, and if
actually asked a technical question say you'll go and find the
answer. Learn about IT, and be able to better front
your company. But what makes your response above even more
ironic, is that you claim to "know the game". If you did then a
little bit of empathy about players who are feeling frustrated
would go a long way, rather than ending your response with a
laughing face emoticon. I gave you the benefit of the doubt
by actually stepping up and communicating with Wargaming's players,
but frankly you come across as someone way out of their depth, and
littering your response with emoticons winking at your customers
and laughing is hardly reassuring or professional.
dies_ari: Hey, I was just quoting you! And no, I disagree with you - I
do not need to know the complicated process going on behind the
scenes, because then I could never get any work done. I need to
talk to you guys, and that's what I'm doing. Yeah, it's unfortunate
that I don't have more information, but I'm here to tell you all I
have (even if it isn't much) - and be sure that I am forwarding
your complaints! And sorry if my choice of emoticon communicates a
lack of empathy to you, that's not the case. Anyways, I'll stay
with my original position: We are working on it, and we will let
you know once we have more information.
