Toffeegerbil, on 07 September 2011 - 10:35 AM, said: I worked hard in the 7-8 category, I had the option of getting a low tier tank to shoot me, but I did not do it as it was not mentioned at all in the rules, so I assumed it was foul play.
Encouraging this kind of stuff disrupts everyones gameplay, always hindering the side with the tiny tank on which is basically not there to play, but to mess around.
If I knew we could 'cheat' I would have got me some gold today. I think in future WG needs to be careful with this kind of thing, as gold is money, and ambigious rules will always cause trouble.
I am not complaining about who won and who didn't. I'm just making my opinion known to you incase you take in customer feedback, so that future competitions can be carried out with more tact.
Vallter: Because the fifth prizer has 154 points

Vallter: We beg our pardon for this. Fixed.

Vallter: Please, take a look on this from our perspective:
There was a line missing in the rules, which allowed players to go 'the easy way'. Doing this they have not violated neither contest nor game rules. It was easier for them to win, that is why they were excluded from the ladder of winners. But still, they have not violated any rules, made a lot of work to get into one battle and cooperate there. They have work too. They completed forum and contest rules. We cannot just not give gold for the contest, because we don't like the way they have won. So we decided to give such players special prizes.
But because of this issue we have made special Contest Rules, which will help us to avoid such situations in future.
And we are grateful for feedback you have provided to us.
