American Tanks

My friend said they added American Tanks, so my question is:
How do they fare compared to the existing Russian and German tanks?
Bad? Good?

Tanitha: The below are just IMO's, and how they seem to me, not facts..
IMO American heavy tank's weren't "that" good in that era (not that i'm a big tank buff that knows a lot about older tanks, just going on what ive heard..).
I think USA were more renown for their artillery, light/medium tanks, and tank destroyers.
"Overall", I think they used the shoot and scoot principal. So higher damage, and mobility, but not much Armour.
The US arty I've not looked at, at all so no comment.
The light/medium tanks, seem pretty good. I believe (from 1v1 training room testing) that the T23 is the best clan war's scout tank in game at the moment, (better than the T44).
It has a quicker top speed, similar turning speed, more damage, less penetration, etc, pretty similar to the T44, but the extra speed is nice.
Some of the mid tier heavies seem to outperform their Russian and German counterparts, but they only have decent armour on their turrets not on the tank body, So people need to stop using auto aim and stop hitting their turrets.
The T10 USA heavy, doesn't seem to match up very well to the mouse, and the mouse doesn't seem to match up very well to the IS7.
So IS7>Mouse>T30 Again in 1v1 testing in the training room..
All in all they are "ok", not that much difference. I think the mediums like the T23 and the TD's will be the main tanks to stand out..
